No doubt an HA makes a truck/SUV towing a TT better. However a 30' 5th wheel with a 20' truck is going to be apr 46' long.
A 30' TT with an HA is now 31'+ and with a 20' truck is now 51' long.
5' is a decent amount when trying to back in. Or finding a CG spot.
Add to that that a 30' TT is really only 27' in living space.
