So unless your 5er clears the bed rails by 10" or better you are looking for trouble!
The B&W is a great hitch, but it is a manual slider! So if you pull into a parking lot and make a semi sharp turn, you could be looking at a damaged 5er and Tool box.

Just get a tool box like this and problem solved.
