Type of lube on fifth wheel pin

What type of lube to you use on your 5th wheel pin? I have a lube plate for the hitch but noticed a little groove on the pin itself. I have a sliding bar Reese hitch and want to make sure the bar stays locked, too.

I generally use "red n tacky" as thats what I have around for the wheel bearings.

I use Bel Ray waterproof wheel bearing grease on my pin. Seems to work fine.

I use a small dab of high load bearing grease.

Not so sure it much matters 'what' you use just that you use some type of lube

I use teflon trailer ball grease on my pin. Just takes a small amount. Normally the slide bar will wear, before the pin.
