Un-Hitching a 5th Wheel
I'm new at this. Only did it one time and that was with assistance. The following is according to my best recollection.
All suggestions will be appreciated
1). Lower tailgate
2). Lower front legs down 1/2 way using electric switch
3). Lower the rest of the front legs by pulling pins and letting drop to floor.
4). Insert pins back into legs
5). Raise front legs of RV to take pressure off pin in hitch
6). Drop rear legs to about 1 -2 " from ground and insert pin
7). Chock the tires
8). Pull pin unlocking the hitch handle
9). Release the hitch
10). Disconnect safety breakaway wire
11). Disconnect cable from trailer lights to truck
12). Pull truck away from camper
13). Use self leveler
