I used a tripod for a year. Maybe helped a little, but certainly did not remove all the movement. Can't see that one being any better as it appears they would only reduce front to back movement, not side to side. But the price is not bad and could be worth a try. Although they do recommend two of them.
I installed JT Strongarms after that year and there was a world of difference. My underbelly is also enclosed. But that really had little effect on the installation. And drilling the frame is a non-issue, except for having to drill upward with the hot metal shavings falling down.
