Is it a little dome type? The owners should have left the manuals with it. If it is the RoadMAte, it has dip switches under the dome that can be set for Dish or Direct. Dish would be HD. With Direct, none of the small automatic antennas will receive HD. With Direct, you need the Wineguard Travler or a home type dish.
