Unsolvable Mystery

Apparently I am receiving 12V power from outer space or perhaps aliens are invading my 5th wheel. I needed to store my camper for a short time while the Missouri river calms down. I have a duel battery system with a marine switch so I turned the switch to off to conserve battery power. Still have 12 V power??? Disconnected both positive battery posts--still have power. I cannot kill the beast. Does anyone have an idea where it is receiving 12V power? (The camper is NOT connected to any source of power). I am stumped. I would appreciate any suggestion regarding this mystery. Thanks in advance!

    Are you the first owner or is it a used trailer, someone may have bypassed the battery switch at some point or added another battery somewhere, I know i have a AGM battery installed under my entertainment center in addition to the 2 batteries that came with the trailer to run the TV and Stuff when dry camping and the trailer did not come that way I added and wired it. good luck

    Wow John, You got it! No, I did not unhook the truck. That explains it perfectly. I might have gone for weeks before figuring that out myself. Hey, I really appreciate all the help. You guys are super!

    Electro-Magnetic-Fields......grab a Gaussmeter and check around your rig..Google it....Dennis

    Thanks Guys! I am still at a loss to explain situation. I do not have solar power and the 12V lights and landing gear jacks all have power???? Thanks for the tries. I will return tomorrow and see if the situation has changed.

    Why/what makes you think you have 12V DC power with battery disconnect switch OFF and then with batteries disconnected?

    Turn a light on.....

    Batteries reverse powering from Propane detector or maybe the Smoke or Carbon Dioxide detector. Capacitors in almost everything electronic slowly disperse voltage but not much amperage. They will die shortly.
