That Frank and they actually ride better , have considerable better fuel economy, greater RAWR then US Pickups and as tough as nails . Engine is used in the Mitsubishi Fuso
Years ago, my brother and his family went to Scotland with our folks. They rented a Chrysler Grand Caravan (or whatever it's called there) with a diesel. They loved it. Got 40 mpg, even loaded down, and would easily get out of its own way. Come to find out that the entire front engine/tranny/suspension was a single assembly held on to the chassis with 6 or 8 bolts =and= used the same wiring harness. Brother tried for 2 years to import 2 of them, one for Dad and one for him, but he couldn't find a way to do so. He even had the OEM part # for the whole assembly. :B
