Use a toy hauler as a TT? No toys to haul.

Toy haulers make great travel trailers but realize they are typically heavier and have a larger draft than the same size TT. Our biggest adjustment going from toy hauler to another type of RV was fluid capacities. We got used to be able to haul 150 gallons of fresh water with a large 10 gallon hot water heater and big waste tanks. Having 40 gallons of fuel on board with 50A generator service was also nice since I could run anything off the toy hauler I could stick inside.
Your DW may give you mixed reviews on the fold up furniture inside toy haulers. The lighter models use flimsy mechanisms and may not be as comfortable as the nicer heavier models. I am also tall and enjoyed the tall roof line of toy hauler. We had big picture windows that made the toy hauler feel even bigger inside than it was due to the the tall ceiling and open floor plan.
