Using a mini fridge to reduce fire hazards

You should check on the Norcold website and see if your model refrigerator has ever been involved in a recall. It looks to me like the majority of recall fridges are the 12 cf models. Those are the ones that seem to fail the most often too. We have a 10 cf fridge and as far as we can tell, that model has never been recalled. So you may not have anything to worry about.
