In an ST tire, the side wall is stiffer to manage the twisting and turning of a trailer, and the ST tire does not have to have the "friction" of a "drive" tire.
What are your thoughts on this?

That's bunk. It depends on the tire. My Duravis R250's are three times stiffer than the TowMax ST's that were on there. They don't roll on the rim at all either. They weigh half again as much as the china bombs.
Plus they aren't speed limited to 65mph
