Vacuums

Now that we have a decent amount of carpet in our new fifth wheel, I'd like to get a compact vacuum to keep in the camper. Preferably something that will fit in the bedroom closet. I did a search and found that a lot of people liked the Hoover Nano Light Compact but that appears to have been discontinued. Even if I did find it online elsewhere, I'd rather be able to purchase something from Walmart or Kmart so that I can return it easily if there's an issue.

    Ditto!!!!! Don't pass on the dust pan option. Greatest thin since greased lightning. Just sweep dirt in front of it and its GONE.

    Hoover Nano discontinued? Not so sure about that. Just purchased one at the local Wally World for $58 to replace the POS Bissell compact upright we were using in the stick n' brick. The Bissell was moved to the TT because it does OK on bare floors (TT only has carpet on slide floor) but performed miserably on carpet.

    Our central vac is a Dirt Devil. Based on how poorly dirt devil performed in years past, I was not too excited about it but I was shocked. This system really rocks and has more suction than the Dometic central vac in our last rig. I have a turbo head and it really came to life with the Dirt Devil suction.

    Did you search this Forum for `vacuum cleaner'? 122 posts on the subject.
    Look at Hoover Linx cordless. Actually fun to use on our bare floors; haven't tried it on carpeting.
