If you put it on craigslist, you will get called by scum bags wanting to sell it for you, as RedJeep has pointed out. This has happened to everything I've put up there lately. I put a comment in my ad telling them not to bother, but they still seem to call. But I still usually get the stuff sold on CL...good luck!!
You put it on anything they will call....RVtrader, RVT, anything, these guys search and try to get you to spend more $$$ using their service.
I just put their number in my call blocking list and move on.
You can get some flakes on CL and some scammers that just want you to send them an email back so they can start spamming you (famous for the email "is it still for sale"). I always put in the adds, "phone calls only"
I have sold 2 toy haulers and 1 class A on CL. I did have the class A on RVTrader but it ultimately sold from CL.
OP, use NADA, use RVtrader and Searchtempest and look to see what others are listing your exact model for nationwide....take into account if a dealer is listing it the prices tend to by high. I saw one dealer advertising a MH on RVtrader for $55k and then the same exact MH on CL, with the add put up by one of the dealer's salesman for $35k. - dedmistonModerator

Here's my Craigslist experience from last year. - dougfordExplorerIf you put it on craigslist, you will get called by scum bags wanting to sell it for you, as RedJeep has pointed out. - valhalla360NavigatorCheck online prices of similar units. NADA usually bears little resemblance to real prices.
Start a little high and if you are getting no bites, drop the price a bit next time you update the post. - RedJeepExplorerTrying to sell my trailer now. Just posted it yesterday on craigslist and rvtrader. Lots of telemarketing firms are calling me. One real buyer calledso I'm encouraged. I priced mine just before Nada retail. If I can't sell in a few weeks I may look at renting it out.
- Y-GuyModeratorNADA RVs is one place to start, it's a "guide" not the law. But start with it. Be sure you read what is included in the base price before you start adding options on your own, this can really tweak the results.
Then go to RV Trader & CraigsList (I suggest using SeachTempest) and search for your RV that others have for sale in your region. It won't show you what they sold for but will give you some idea of your competition is asking and what condition they are in. I do suggest comparing years from say 2010-13 when searching. - jareddustinExplorernada guide is a start but i think best way is to search online to see what others are selling for
