By specs we are 12'6" so clearances have never been a real big concern except for low branches on urban roads with high crowns & narrow lanes restricting moving over.
In many miles I have stopped to get out & look only once on a rural road which was marked as lower than our height. At the center there was more than enough room.
If you really want a challenge try getting under a low bridge in a boat when the water is not flat calm & you do it with less than an inch clearance. No clearance board on the side of the bridge.
