Either way, it doesn't look good.
The 3" vertical post is the only mounting point. It is used to both pull the hitch down to the bed and control lateral movement. The floor is what were seeing flexing here....and maybe a tiny bit of the base.
I am surprised. All the folks that rave about the B&W. Sounds like a pretty weak design if you ask me.
Give me a hitch that uses frame rails for support. I like my SuperGlide even a little more now.
