Had a small tear on mine. It only tore the top layer and it was glued to the floor and not loose. Had some RV Goop, heated the top layer with a hair dryer, applied the Goop, allowed a moment to set, pushed down and laid a piece of Saran Wrap on top. Placed a couple of bricks on top. After a couple of hours you can not see it.
