We bought this new Toy Hauler in August of last year. Went through the usual problems, water leaks in windows, Fridge went out, but, over all not too bad.When we started using it in may we noticed one week that there was a drip out of the return air vent on the main living area. It came and went then we took the rig on a 4 day trip and it leaked pretty bad. I called in a trouble ticket with Dutchmen early June and had a repair man come out and look at it. He said that the unit was a bad install, some of the rubber roof was not under the gasket, and, one of the lag bolts was not secure.He installed a new gasket, made sure the roof was tucked under properly, and, tightened it down. This was in mid to late June.A week ago we noticed it leaking again, had the guy come out, and he advised the roof decking had rotted and is sagging. The entire roof will have to come off, rotten lumber replaced, and, the roof replaced.We really don not feel like this rig will ever be right, there has been to much water damage and it probably has mold growing in the walls. I want to push for Dutchman to buy this back, has anyone here had any experience with this type of situation?{snip}Man we are disappointed.Moderator's edit: Removed the note about legal action.

I understand your pain and sympathize but I think once repaired your roof should be fine. I don't think there will be mold in the walls - they're not hollow.

Right now I wouldn't want a voltage. Was out last weekend and guy just picked up his new 5 Ed voltage and was using it for the first time. Slides failed, one in one out. Low and behold another smaller tag voltage at same place was haveing slide and water leaks. They look nice but still having major complaints if you ask me.

I wont keep it even if it is fixed unless Dutchmen give me an extended warranty which was never offered to me.They really look good but they are poorly made.

Sounds like you got your plan. Get it fixed and sell it. Cut your losses.

Thought I would report back on this. Dutchmen has agreed to replace the roof, and rotted lumber. They have not responded back about extending the warranty. The dealer knows about the issue and has agreed to take it back in trade towards a new trailer.

So far so good, but a week of heartburn while we waited for an answer.

As my sig shows we have a WW and water damage is synonymous with these trailers.
Early this year, water pooled on the roof (big storm) and essentially the roof caved/bowed in. We still owe on it so selling wasn't an option. I was heartsick about the whole thing. I knew it would be a fortune to fix but we love camping and it is our only vacation option right now.
Short story is we found a place to fix it reasonable and quality, scraped the money together and got it fixed, rotted down wall to window, front cap and four feet back from cap on the top. IT WAS TOAST. But they cleaned it out, reinforced and sealed the roof. It is back to new(not quite new, or better than new actually, when it had a gap in roof from the factory and now is fixed) and we are back to enjoying it.
If it can be fixed, go for it, may work out better than you think.

I have no doubt someone could find this forum using the search "voltage problems/issues" - there's been plenty of threads in general commenting on the Voltage quality or inquiring about Voltage quality.

It's really to bad all these people have spent hard earned money on these expensive toy haulers. We almost bought one a month ago and after reading and researching on here and other sources we ended up going with a Fusion. I hope you can get yours all worked out and you have many years of happy camping in front of you.
