Voltage owners. Wood under the slide outs?
Looking at a Voltage 3950 and i noticed that on their slide outs, on the underside of them, the wood is exposed under the slides. THeres this black wood that is not sealed anywhere. Its a dutchmen...

I too had my heart set on a voltage. Beautiful looking units!! But that wood on the slides and their other shortcomings (slide issues etc.) is one reason I have not purchased one yet. I went to Holmans and the salesman pointed this out, his main point, and I had to agree was "do you want this rig sitting at the dealer for repairs or do you want to be using your rig". He was pointing me to a cyclone, and when I compared them, the cyclone was a better unit. You need to look and compare these units carefully before purchasing one. I just wish cyclone would start using the frameless windows. They all have their shortcomings and I know there are members here that have no problems with their voltages but these units are large investments and we should be happy with our decisions. JMHO.
