Voltage owners. Wood under the slide outs?
Looking at a Voltage 3950 and i noticed that on their slide outs, on the underside of them, the wood is exposed under the slides. THeres this black wood that is not sealed anywhere. Its a dutchmen...

I have a Voltage 3950. The wood is not an issue - it doesn't get wet.
The Schwintek slides took a couple of hours to set up initially but have worked fine since.
Our unit is three years old - one of the apparently "awful" 2011s. We've used it for about 300 nights and put about 30K miles on it.
People who don't own them love to bash them. We love ours.
