With all we know now about tire repairs today why would anyone plug a tire??? rockin'
Yeah, I hate plugs. I've seen what they do to tires when I was a teenager repairing tires. I had a flat on my new Jeep Wrangler and wanted it patched, not plugged. Discount Tire, NTB, Sears, Walmart etc -- none of them would do a patch. All claimed that nobody does them any more. Finally found a family owned tire shop that told me they'd patch it, in fact they never do plugs on tires. When I picked it back up the guy who did the work on it told me that I was lucky I didn't have it plugged as it would have blown out. He also recommended that I use it as my spare, not a driver. But I put it back on the ground anyway and have now racked up over 25,000 miles on that patched tire. Quality work. :-)
Give y'all one guess who's going to sell me my next set of tires on my Jeep and RV.
