Wife and I are not full-timers yet. I was all for getting the washer/dryer for her, but DW says "No". She doesn't want to give up the storage plus as mentioned by others it only takes a couple of hours to do 2 weeks in the large machines at the laundry mat compared to the small load capacity of the RV machines. I have always found the laundry mats in campgrounds to be very clean. It is not like the ones you might find in town. I think campers are just use to keeping their RV's clean and that carries over to the campground laundry mat. Plus the campground wants to keep you happy and so clean them regularly. For us, for now, the storage is more important.
