A buffer will do the best job. It's too much for me, I hire it done.

I have always used a random orbit buffer like the first link. That is what I have now as my Craftsman quit in the middle of waxing my 5th wheel last week and Harbor Freight is close. It may not least either but was only $20 and works fine. The Craftsman was more then twice the cost and only lasted a few years.
It takes me 4 days to do the whole wash/wax job but I like a clean, shiny vehicle/RV. Even my boat gets a yearly wax.

I took my time and did the task in 4 days on my 34ft big horn. I went out and purchased a 50$ polisher from Harbor Freight but found it was easier just to use arm strength instead... I'll try to return the used polisher--hope they have a forgiving return policy.

Been there, done that! Ha ha ha ha First time I "attempted" to wax our first fifth wheel I was younger and it still turned into a HUGE task.

Like others here have said, plan your work and work your plan. I usually do the front and almost one side the first day, then depending on how I (my arms & shoulders) feel after that I try to do the remaining part the next day or two. It is very rewarding to step back after it's all done and admire YOUR handy work!! Think of it this way, after washing and waxing your RV you won't need to go to the gym for a few days. :B

Good luck and hang in there, it's doable just take your time.

We just got back from Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville, Tx. They have a guy there that comes out with a couple of guys and washes the RV from the roof down and then waxes it for $5 a foot. I asked them to use the Rejex I had which they had no problem doing. I just watched from the shade. We take our trailer there a couple of times a year and have them do it for that price. They usually do 2 to 3 units a day for the wash and wax.

I know in Arizona some campers had a company come in and wash and wax. about 10.00 per foot

I will wash my beast all in 1 day... Once a year I will set up the scaffolding and wax over a 3-4 day period working against the direct sun..
Last year I found a product ( on here ) called - Wash Wax All This is GREAT for keeping the trailer looking good,! It also does give it a just waxed look , without breaking my back , and every other bone

It's take both of us several days to wax our 37 ft 5th wheel. Not my favorite task but must be done to look nice.
