Wasted space on our tow vehicle roof
Anybody here have racks with carriers or baskets on top of your truck to carry items that won't fit in your truck bed or in the fiver? I feel that the roof of our truck could be useful space. Maybe...

I once added a bike rack on the roof, and was not used to having anything on the roof.. The first time I added bikes to the rack, I took the truck ( with Bikes on top) to work the day we were leaving. I was driving down the road., and went under an underpass, as I was exiting the other side, a large cup of what looked to be a chocolate milkshake hit the middle of my hood from the bridge.
I quickly ran to the local drive in car wash to rinse it off.... That is when I found out that a pick up with bikes ON THE ROOF does not fit in a 9’ doorway.. ouch ... it was a tough day
