water leak near city water hook up

I have a very slow drip, drip, drip coming out of a hole labeled 'vent' which is situated close to where my city water hose hooks in....I have a 2017 Mobile Suites. This is very frustrating because I do not understand what is causing it. Can anyone advise/educate me ? I think this could be a more serious problem if I hit freezing weather. Thanks much
  • well, I think you guys are on target. Sure enough, the water tank was full...turned water source off; drained the tank; turned water source back on and get city water but now my small leak is coming out the water tank drain hose instead of the 'vent' hole....Think I will measure the rate of leakage.....so now I don't think I have to worry about a freeze at night, and need to see what is involved in fixing it...

Fulltiming....that sounds good. Let us know what you find!

  • You have a "KantLeak" Valve. I advise looking on the Thor forum and DRV section.
  • Sounds like the valve that switches between city water usage, and filling the freshwater tank may be leaking? If that is the vent for the fresh water tank, it sounds like the tank may be full.... Your tag says you are from Ohio. is that where you are now? Sounds like time to disconnect the water supply, and winterize?
