Waxing 5er ???

Thinking of trying Rejex on my coach. I have used NuFinish before but was told Rejex works well. Of those who have tried it how did you like it? I will use white polishing compound on the bad spots first, wife wants the outside to look as good as the inside !!! Thanks

I did an experiment using NuFinish on half of my trailer and Meguiars #50 on the other half. Both looked shiny but the NuFinish half was blotchy in sunlight and didn't last as long. Maybe not scientific but convinced me. I am going to try Meguiars Flagship cleaner/wax this year to compare the finish as Meguiars claims it is a better product on fiberglass.
As for Rejex I tried it some years ago and while it did seem to make bug removal easier in the front I didn't see any improvement in the shine or finish and it didn't last long.
"Your results may be different" :D
  • Art...I have used both and Nu-finish is my choice for protecting the whole rig. I didn't find too much difference in getting bugs off of the front. My Cameo is 6 years old and still looks almost new with no decal fading or peeling. Nufinish is cheaper and easier to apply. I "wax" the sides once a year and the front cap twice. The polishing compound works nicely, but best if you have a buffer.

I have always heard good things about the Meguiers marine wax as well.

You will get lots of opinions, but anything is better than nothing!

Your welcome. Pismo is my favorite place to RV 2 or 3 times a year:)

My choice for the last 10 years has be Meguairs Marine wax. Was in a boat shop at the ocean and asked what the commercial fisherman use on their boats. Meguairs. One wax a year is usually all I need. It is a liquid and easy to apply.
