I have a 40 footer with full body paint. It is now 5 years old and I wash, clean and wax and then paste wax over it twice a year and do the front cap four times a year. I do it myself and do not use a buffer. Meguiars now has a buffing pad that attaches to a drill. Suppose to be the best. Be careful with buffing pads as heat can cause some serious damage to the finish. To the 64 year old, you are a kid. If you are going to do all that work, be sure and buy the best products to clean and wax. Seems silly to all that work with cheap products.
Me? My mind tells me I'm like 20...but my body on numerous occasions reminds me of my real age....I've done a lot of research over the years and know what to use as far as cleaning and waxing of the 5er and care of the roof. ... I don't use "cheap products" ,you learn a lot over the years...I'm even like another poster, when I wash my 5er, even if I waxed 5er 3 months ago, I may put another coat on the front cap again, seeing as how it's the part that usually get's the most abuse when towing.
