I would be concerned that the slide is not retracting evenly.
The corner with the crack in the wall would be where the slide makes first contact before making contact on the opposite corner.
By the time the opposite corner has mas made full contact, the cracked corner has way too much contact causing the pressure on the wall and making it crack.
