I did just talk to two different RV repair people and where the crack is and it being vertical and just above the slide, they believe it is nothing to worry about.
Gosh, the dilemma here! Should we just take it down to our favorite RV dealer and have them crawl over it or just walk away. NADA on this unit is about $18000 with the add ons (oh this has a fireplace too). Again, the unit does not even look lived in!
We offered $15000 but they came back with a counter of $15500. The guy that is selling the unit is more than willing to take the unit down to the RV place of our choice, pay for our gas, and have it inspected.
Dilemmas Dilemmas! Walk away or wait a while longer and get something newer?????????
Check this out: http://rvsurvey.com/ An INDEPENDENT RV Survey is the way to go. No one should pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a uses RV with out a pre purchase survey/inspection. The local RV shop will be looking for things to fix.
