Weight Police

The new Dodge has a ton of pulling capacity. I tow 19K lb. fifth wheel with my 2012 Ram 3500.... Those two trucks are good to go...

The second one I get, but what's wrong with the first one. Its a diesel truck.

Personally I would never pull anything that long with a SRW truck.

I, on the other hand, think DRW is vastly over-rated and over-hyped. (I have owned both and now drive a long bed SRW by choice.)

The Toy Hauler owner told me he had a 16,000 hitch and had to go to a 20,000 #. His wife said they were 18,000#. Pin weight is 3285. Triple axle.

Wildcat is 9855 dry. 11875 GVWR. Pin wt. is 1715. Does anyone think the Wildcat owner is overweight with P rated tires?

The Ram, I forgot to add, is a 2500.

What experience and license class did the drivers have?

Guess I'll get my camera and go out looking for trouble, naw got better things to do.

And they'll both probably tell you that "I can't even tell it's back there."

What ever, "better things you have to do," I'll go do them with you.
Walking around the campground worrying about and photographing what other people do is not how I want to spend my time either.

I thought I was the only one who thought that way. Been there done that, got the shirt, sold the dually. Handle sloppy, cornered like a monster... Generally unpleasant to drive...IMHO.

I have enjoyed my unibody TV's despite all the claims that they can't tow... When (if) I get another truck it's going to be a SRW.
