GAP insurance is usually fairly inexpensive. It will pay the difference of what is owed on the loan to what your insurance will pay if your fiver is totaled. Well worth the couple hundred dollars.
I would agree on this, but you can get this through your insurance too and it most likely will be less expensive. Worth the investment. As always, it's insurance that you never know if you'll need it but when you do, you're glad you had it.
X2! You know what down payment you made, and how much the unit is worth! If there is a substantial difference then talk with your insurance agent. Basically GAP is insurance to cover the lender, if you total the rig, and your insurance does not cover what you borrowed.
As far as the wax and other protection the dealer is trying to sell you, forget it! As mentioned, you can easily do that yourself, or even if you hire someone you can still do it for a lot less money than what the dealer is trying to sell you.
Finally, you mentioned the mattress. Not sure what you were getting at, they come from the factory with a mattress. If you are considering upgrading the mattress agin, do some research, you can buy a better one yourself. But remember, RV mattress' are a little smaller then regular. Good luck with your new RV!
