All good points from every poster. It takes time, patience, lining up everything, a bit of lube, willingness to use a hammer &, if available, some help.
Lucky me, the DW is not affraid to get her hands dirty & know tools in the toolbox & where they are better than I know stuff in the galley.
We are installing the Correct Track system next month. As long as everything is up in the air we will replace the wet bolts & plates while we are at it. A few days in a boatyard with access to large blocks of wood, 12 ton jacks, anything else & we should be good.
