We've been living on the wrong side of the tracks

I was walking down the street of our RV park and saw a DRV Full House toy hauler. I'd never heard of one of these before so I looked it up on the web. How wrong I was. It's not a toy hauler, it's a Luxury Asset Hauler.

They mock our rigs us:tricycle, them : sportbike; us: push cart, them: ATV; us: carry our own clubs, them golf cart.

I'm depressed.

I think I'll go out and ride my tricycle for a while.
  • Frankly I think it's great, love seeing more high end units out there. Out of my price range but if they will build a higher quality unit more likely that filters down to the other brands too.

The website posted has a copyright date from 2014. This particular unit has paused production a couple of times over the years. Here is the current Full House Website

Seeing brands like Sony and Sea-Trac installed is a lot better then some junk stereo nobody ever heard of or the normal cheap level monitors.

And this shower, well not the one I've see in most brands.
  • Yet the shower looks like the same one used in my cheap keystone trailer, as I would also bet a lot of other things in are.
  • I get the feeling it's one of those "If you have to ask how heavy it is, you can't tow it" trailers. 3 x 8000 lb axles plus I'm assuming 4-6k pin weight could push that to 30k gvw territory. That's one heavy trailer. I think the irony is that to tow it with one of the regular big 3 trucks and not a medium duty, you would need to have a regular cab dually with very few options taking away your payload. Max payload for the Ram that can tow 32100 lbs is 6578 lbs. Not very luxurious.
  • Believe it or not, there are a bunch of us out here who have no interest in anything like that. JS

WOW nice rig, I didn't see what it weighed, I'm guessing 16,000 empty, and what would you tow it with, we have a 15,000 (empty) toy hauler and it pushed our 7000 pound dodge diesel down to road, we now pull it with an Freightliner FL-60 Sport Chassis, I couldn't even think of a 1 ton dually being enough truck for that monster

I bet 20,000 empty, still only holds 100 gal of water, thats odd.

Beautiful Luxury Hauler, i love it.

  • Joe,
    It's all about the $$$$$$!!!
Us 'po-folks' still have a GREAT time with our RV enjoyments!!
(Sure, a 42' DP with the bells and whistles would be fun, but...
for us, the $$$ in the bank and our rig with all of the necessaries (but not much of the bling) is just fine.))

Be Happy - Enjoy Life - It is MUCH too short to worry the small stuff!!!
  • Never heard of this brand, so like you, looked them up. Found their manufacturer web site, yea the tricycle is cute. Then looked for dealers and well ...
