Whad-da-think?

'89 Chevy K1500, 4.3L V-6 w/5-speed manual trans., 132000+ miles
'16 Keystone Sprinter 269FWRLS 5th-wheel w/gooseneck adapter

What are the chances I'll make to California from Indiana?

I have a picture but it didn't come through. :(

I'll try it this time.

  • I say go ahead. Let me know when you're going. I follow you so I can get the video.
  • I think your F350 would be a better choice. If you insist on the 1500, with the good, but old, tired V6, it could be done. I would not use the gooseneck adapter on a 16 FW. If looking to save weight, an Andersen hitch would be a better choice.

If just trolling, that's OK too, forums been slow!

  • Anything is possible but I picture you arriving behind a tow truck.
  • I would not do it. For me it is not enough truck not enough engine, not enough anything to tow a 5th w. But that is just me
