- BraveheartExplorerI have a 2012 RZR 4 800. Put racertech Springs, wheel spacers, dalton clutch kit, and have taken it just about everywhere....even the rubicon trail out of Lake Tahoe. Did not complete the whole trail, but it climbed what we needed it to do. I am not allowed on the 50" trails, so know the limitations of the trails you plan to ride before you buy.
- SoCalDesertRid1ExplorerI don't know if they come in 4-seat version, but I like the 2-seat Arctic Cat Wildcat. The suspension is very very plush and they sure have alot of power. They're quite pricey though.
I couldn't afford any of them, so I bought an old Suzuki Samurai instead, which it turns out I like better than the UTV's, in general. - eDUBzExplorerWe have a 2014 Polaris RZR 800 4 and love it.

Hope that cage kept your head safe!
A friend rolled his Rhino, following another friend in a Wildcat, going up a very steep, rocky trail. He was belted in and wasn't hurt. We used a Razor to winch the Rhino back over and he drove it home with no problems. - mrkojeExplorerI had a Rzr 1000 for about a year and a half before I sold it. Thing was a ton of fun but it is really to big for doing any real mountain trails. Now that I sold that I'm going to do 2 2up atvs instead. Biggest problem with most of the 4seaters was the wheelbase being so long for trails. I think the Kawasaki Teryx4 had the shortest wheelbase of the 4 seaters but it was to tall for my last trailer.
- azdryheatExplorerI've only driven a RZR so it gets my vote. The engine is very powerful and the suspension is incredible. Not scientific but the RZR seems to be the most popular.
- Semperfi_66ExplorerI have a 2 seat 2016 Can Am Commander Limited and am very happy with it
- coolbreeze01ExplorerA friend has a new 4-seat 1000 Polaris. Its actually longer than his Jeep Rubicon. Has to go around some of the narrow, crooked trails.
- BedlamModeratorSomething else to consider is a VW or Subaru powered trail rail buggy if you do not need 4wd. Depending on your state rules, you may even be able to use one as a street rod when not driving off road.
