When you get to your destination
Check that no drawers or cabinet doors have opened or jarred loose
before you extend the slide.
Do all the set up or get ready to go chores in the same order each time.
Do the walk around ( as others have suggested )
I will then usually pull forward and stop then walk about 40' away from the trailer and look everything over (at this distance you can spot vents up, stuff left, stuff dangling, leveling boards you left, tires that look low etc.
