If dealer claims the tires are OK then ask for a 3 year tire warranty in writing from the dealer. If he won't put that in writing then obviously he doesn't believe the application is really safe.
Note Primetime RV and Tredit are offering 5 year warranty on the tires.
Tireman9, isn't the placard suppose to list the OEM tires correctly. If I saw LRD on the placard would it have OEM LRE tires installed?

Yes, That is my understanding of the law. If the dealer made the change before sale the dealer should have changed the placard. If however the change was made after sale at the direction of the owner then I do not think the dealer is responsible to change the placard.
