I think that's way too much for 1/2 ton, dude, it's 30' long! even at 5800# empty behind a lifted 1/2 ton I would not advise it. You need to be looking at trailers under 25'. As I said I KILLED a Chevy 1500 towing a 24' Wanderer, went through 3 transmissions and it had a bad rod knock when I sold it. Plus it was white knuckle towing if it was a bit windy.
Don't know what you'll be hauling but the contents add up FAST!
Why do you insist on a separate garage? That's what's driving up the length/weight.
