2 x 8s cut about 14" long beveled end, heck of a lot cheaper than plastic blocks. If you are near or pass a home construction site when they are framing up, you can usually get cut offs from their dumpster that are just right.
Been through the sweeping off bit and there's no easy answer except a push broom cause their handle is longer to start. My preference was toppers on the slide.
Gonna need tie downs for the toys, Tractor Supply here has them on sale now, 4 for $10. Outside mat for under the awning is nice to have. The woven plastic one will let the dirt and water through.
