What do you carry for a jack?

For the trailer -- BIGFOOT Levelers, for the F350 a 20ton Air-Bottle jack. I have a 200 psi air system on board. They both work great.

Being new to 5er, that is my concern. When I get to my sons house I can use them to jack up the corner of his house to repair a rotted sill plate and joists. It was only $450,000 and needs a "few" things fixed.

Torin 2 ton 2 stage bottle jack for me. Used twice on the road in nine years.

Two 12T HF bottle jacks - high & low profile.

Nix on the Trailer Aid plus.
(The blocks will do the same - with better height adjustments, useful for lots of other stuff besides jacking)

No matter what Motor Club you belong to - you *MUST* rely on a local tow operator for service.
Depending on their work load, priorities, and location (urban? rural?) at the time you call, you may receive prompt or sloooooow service.
When patience wears thin - DIY may apply!..:W

I have a HF 20 ton Air Hydraulic Bottle Jack on the trailer. Both the truck and trailer have on board air. It is nice to flick a switch, shove the jack under the frame, attach the air line, squeeze the air valve and watch the jack do all the work.

I've carried a old truckers special 12 ton shorty hyd bottle jack with a 10"x10" base since I was on the road full time pulling GN trailers.
It slide easily under the end of the axle. Its lifted 1750 lb axles on up to 10000 lb axles fully loaded. It serves double duty and does much more than lift one axle or the side of a trailer.

I just looked at mine, it's rated for up to 15K.

Another vote for Trailer Aid. I had my 5th wheel in storage and when I went to get it out found that the one tire was flat. I was planning on replacing the tires anyway. I changed and replaced all four tires using the Trailer Aid. Very simple and safe to use.

That must be one stout 2 ton jack. I'd hate to try and lift one of my flat tires far enough with the 1.5 ton jacks I have at home. Too much work for me. :)

I bought a small 2 ton from napa when I got stuck in Gettysberg with a brake issue. It's plenty to lift one tire.
