What do you carry for a jack?

I would use the jack that came with the Excursion or drive up on a block or use my coaches if I ever have flat. The only time I had a soft tire I stoped at a tire co. and they patched a nail hole and it cost $12.00. They used their jack. One thing I found out a long time ago is it's better to just wing it then to worry about something that might never happen.

2 X 12 ton bottle jacks. Floor jacks are unsafe we had the 5ver fall off one in Montana.

The floor jacks are awkward to store and take up too much room. Get an 8 or 12 ton bottle jack. The 3,000# floor jack would have a hard time lifting your truck, especially if it was to change a rear tire with the 5ver weight while hooked up.

I have a roll on aluminum 1/4 m00n shaped device and the good tire lifts the bad tire.. I have had a chance to try it out worked great. also cart a 12 ton bottle jack with the screw center. The 12 ton will jack faster then the 20 ton (I do have them as well) and still do the job. At home I have a 5 ton and 10 ton Railroad jack the I am more comfortable with mechanical and nothing to give out.

I don't believe in hauling scrap iron around. So much of that and I may need to get a dually diesel. :W

Why don't you look to see if your vehicle jack will do the trick. My F 250 jack will do it with ease if needed.

As old and fat as I am, maybe it would be a good idea to use my road service if the need ever arises.

A 12 ton bottle jack from HF. IMO it's one of those things that are better to have and never need, than need and never have. Kind of like cash. :)

I use a 12 ton bottle jack. I believe the trailer aid things you roll the good tire up on are good too but I don't like putting all the weight on 1 tire and spring. Just personal preference.

Bought my trailer used....It has a bottle jack in the storage compartment....I have never tried it yet. At home I have a floor jack when doing maintenance
