I disconnect mine and roll up and put in front pass through storage compartment.
A hose reel type deal would be good too, that could be wired so person could just pull out what is needed and plug into power source.

I think most class A MHs are setup that way.

When traveling mine is in the truck bed. When parked it is plugged in 24/7 all seasons.

X2 problem solved.

My last camper had the hard wired that you had to stuff in the hatch. Used to skin my knuckles every time and was always going to replace it with a detachable plug. We had a rash of thefts in this area where people would pull as much out of the camper and just whack it off with a bolt cutter.
Anyway......the KZ MXT has the detachable cable. I have 3 rubber-maid type tubs in the pass through. One for sewer attachments. One for fresh water stuff. And one for electrical. The garden type hoses and the heavy electrical both get coiled up and I use a couple of the bungee cords with a ball on the end to keep them tidy.

I changed the cord to SOOW from the******that came with the 5er. Very easy to coil, hot or cold. I just feed it on top of the stuff in the pass through since it is usually the last item in and the first item out. Cord length about 40'.

I've taken to putting mine in a holder that was designed to carry a few pieces of wood from the garage to the house.... I coiled it so the ends are on top and the cord lays on one side of the log holder - I put it under the side of the camper and just unrol enough to reach the connections. When I'm done, I roll it back, put a cord strap thing around it, fold the wood bag over, and use the handles to help me lift it into the pass-through. In the log holder it it sits vertically in my street side pass through. I'm female and smaller, and I can't manuver the large tub or washbasket as easily as the log holder - no idea why, but it works. :)
