I think what I'm going to try is going down to Homedepot and picking up a couple 3" x 10' ABS pipe lengths and attaching them underneath via straps. Then simply capping the ends and stuffing the cord in each tube like a "U" shape. Yes one end will be semi exposed to some elements under the trailer but by virtue of where I'm placing it behind the fuel tank, it will be pretty protected and out of sight of thieves. I'll let everyone know how it works out.
