Thanks everyone. Lots of great ideas.
In regards to sticking it underneath and people people potentially noticing it ..... If they're diligent enough and after whatever they can find under this trailer then there's no stopping them from taking just about anything they want if I'm not around. These trailers are not hard to get into and 20(ish) gallons of gasoline is at their reach with a mere few turns of a screwdriver.
I'm going to see if the cord fits in a bucket. ;)
