we have a heavy camper and often find ourselves camping on sandy sites .... over the years, to help spread the weight, I've cut boards, used the plastic Lego blocks, some metal plates, thick pieces of rubber mats, and most everything else I could think of .... without a doubt the 15" x 15" x 1.5" Bigfoot Outrigger Pads we've used for the last few years have given the best service of anything we've tried .... when we had a Bigfoot Auto Leveling System (completely different company than the one that makes the pads), we went to 4 of the pads .... for stabilizer pads I do like Camco Stabilizer Jack Pads
