Actually sounds like an ideal situation for a F150 HD ecoboost. If you get the HD Payload package (not just max tow) you will have well over 2000lbs of payload to handle your pin weight. The ecoboost while not as powerfull as the 6.2 / or 6.4 it will not loose power at altitude like N/A, and at colorado elevations will easily retain more power than N/A. Certainly worth a consideration, especially if you don't really want diesel.
