No disrespect towards the gas motors, and I have nothing but good things about the new Hemi. I am sure they do great towing but I really don't thing they compare to a diesel. Like I said, I pulled mine for several seasons with no trouble, but its nothing like pulling it now.
Just a question, have you pulled your rig with a diesel?
Yes I have. My previous tow vehicle was a 99 F250 power stroke. I know that one is puny compared to the newer diesels. My 6.2 gas pulls the same camper up the same 6% long grade with more ease than the ole psd did. The gasser fits into my needs just fine. I tow around 3000 miles each winter. I was just trying to give some input to the gasser question. I don't care what other people drive. Sure there is a need for a diesel powered pick up. That is why they are made. :W BTW have you ever watched the pull off between the 6.2 gas and the diesel yanking a heavy load up the step hill?
