Thank you all for your input and "mostly" not getting off track on why I was pulling the FW with the 1500 in the first place :P We all make mistakes, at least I own it and I'm fixing it before it was catastrophic!

Be sure to check out the door jamb weight capacity figures. These are the actual for each truck as it stands in front of you. Throw the manufacturers stock figures in the trash. Best way to ensure what you get, is what you need.
Shop on line, build your own truck, is fun too. Ford has the best site, Dodge 2nd, Chevy, distant third (double check everything you add to the chevy, because it will tell you no conflicts, then change a previous selection without telling you. It sucks).
