We visited their factory a few years ago before we purchased our unit from DRV. Back then they made their own frames, very sturdy.
We didn't buy an Excel because they didn't have a lot of dealers East of the Mississippi. Also, their wall structure back then was with pine 2x4s. I didn't want to take a chance with wet wood on the inside of the walls should they incur a water leak. Nor did I want to be concern about termites. Not sure if they still use 2x4s or if they went with welded aluminum.
They make a good unit if you don't have any concerns as I did.
