If you look back, Excel has had a few problems. For a few years, they had some frame flex issues in the front and slides dragging if you tried to operate the bedroom slide while hitched. I think they got this fixed.
Another issue was the floor of some of the slides rotting. They had a poor design on the slide wall to floor seal.
Other wise they seem to be well above the average RV.
NuWa HitchHiker is using Petersen Ind. to build and brand name their trailers since they stopped production.
