Given that =all= RV workers are paid on a per piece basis, there is zero incentive for them to work for quality, only quantity. Since the majority of RVs won't have an issue during the warranty period, the mfr Execs have zero incentive to change this. They'd rather have a few serious claims, including buy-backs, and a few more less serious warranty issues, than change the way they make these things. They also know that the knowledgeable RVer will simply fix the small stuff on their own during the warranty period, rather than go through the hassle of a warranty "fix", so that's something they simply don't worry about.
